StenCoat® 2EP 210 is a two-component, epoxy-based decorative floor coating. It is solvent-free and offers high abrasion and chemical resistance. It can be used as an economical coating on concrete floors either on its own or as a top coat over StenCoat® floor coating systems. It is resistant to weak acids and bases, detergents, disinfectants, hydraulic oils, many solvents and fuels. On the surface it prevents dusting, wetting and water penetration, and increases resistance to soiling and oxidation.
Areas of Use
StenCoat® 2EP 210 is used on concrete and metal floors and over mortar-type or self-leveling seamless coatings to improve abrasion, slip and chemical resistance and to give a decorative appearance. It is preferred for hygiene in hospitals, restaurants and kitchens; for safety and appearance on wet floors such as pool surrounds and bathrooms; for protection and aesthetics in social facilities and shopping centers; and for floor protection in industrial facilities. Coated surfaces are easy to clean, dry quickly and do not generate dust.

Epoxy-based coatings may yellow over time when exposed to direct sunlight and UV. For best results, StenCoat® 2PUV 401, 402 or 403 — which substantially blocks UV rays — can be applied as a top coat; these varnishes are available in gloss levels from full gloss to full matt.
