StenCare® 2EP 231 is the non-sagging counterpart of StenCare® 2EP 230: an epoxy-based, two-component, cold-applied repair and anchoring material whose non-sag consistency lets it be applied easily on sloped, vertical and overhead joints and surfaces. It combines high mechanical resistance and adhesion with flexibility and is resistant to organic and inorganic acids and alkalis, oils, fuels, antifreeze, and many chemicals. The product conforms to ASTM C 881/C 881M, Type 3, Grade 3, Class B and Class C.
Areas of Use
StenCare® 2EP 231 is designed for applications subject to movement during or after installation. It can be used to bond aggregates to concrete where skid resistance is required, for doweling, and for anchoring or repairs on surfaces subject to traffic or movement. Its non-sag consistency makes it especially suitable for repairs on sloped, vertical and downward-facing surfaces. It adheres excellently to concrete, metal, wood and similar surfaces for a durable, stable repair, and when used as a filler or adhesive between two different surfaces its elasticity partially isolates their movement from each other.
