StenCare® 2EP 230 is an epoxy-based, two-component, cold-applied repair, coating and anchoring material suitable for heavy-traffic conditions. It is pourable and self-leveling for a smooth finish, and it combines high mechanical strength and adhesion with flexibility so it can bridge cracks on moving surfaces without breaking. It is resistant to organic and inorganic acids and alkalis, oils, fuels, antifreeze, and many chemicals. The product conforms to ASTM C 881/C 881M, Type 3, Grade 1, Class C.
Areas of Use
StenCare® 2EP 230 is designed for applications subject to movement during or after installation and is suitable for outdoor repairs exposed to thermal cycling. It can be used to bond aggregates to concrete where skid resistance is required, for doweling, and for anchoring or repairs on surfaces subject to traffic or movement. It adheres excellently to concrete, metal, wood and similar surfaces for a durable, stable repair, and when used as a filler or adhesive between two different surfaces its elasticity partially isolates their movement from each other.
