SN Flux 555-T

Aqueous Polycarboxylic Ether Solution for Production of Concrete Admixtures

SN Flux® 555-T is a delayed-activation polycarboxylic ether (PCE) solution designed for formulating water-reducing admixtures with enhanced slump retention. It has a low plasticizing effect right after the concrete is mixed; over time, more of the polymer is activated and slump loss is avoided. Blended with other SN Flux® grades for higher initial flow, it delivers excellent slump retention.

Areas of Use

SN Flux® 555-T is suitable for formulating high-range water-reducing / superplasticizing admixtures where an enhanced slump retention performance is needed. Thanks to its delayed activation profile, it has a low plasticizing effect right after the concrete is mixed; over time, more of the polymer is activated and slump loss is avoided. For higher initial slump/flow, it should be mixed with other SN Flux® grades. It can be used for precast and ready-mix concrete.
