SN Flux® 401 is a delayed-activation polycarboxylic ether (PCE) solution developed for producing water-reducing and superplasticizing concrete admixtures with enhanced slump retention. It has no plasticizing effect the moment the concrete is mixed; the polymer activates over time to increase slump and flow, delivering long-lasting slump retention. Its low air entrainment makes it dependable in precast and ready-mix concrete production.
Areas of Use
SN Flux® 401 is suitable for formulating high-range water-reducing / superplasticizing admixtures where enhanced slump retention is required. Thanks to its delayed activation profile it does not plasticize freshly mixed concrete; over time the polymer activates and increases slump and flow. For higher initial slump or flow, it is recommended to blend it with other SN Flux® grades.
