SN Flux 402

Water-Based Polycarboxylate Ether (PCE) Solution for the Production of Concrete Admixtures

Concrete Admixture Raw Materials · Long Slump-Retention PCEs

Delayed-activation polycarboxylic ether (PCE) solution whose water-reducing effect develops over time, engineered for long-lasting slump retention.

SN Flux® 402 is a delayed-activation polycarboxylic ether (PCE) solution developed for producing water-reducing concrete admixtures with enhanced slump retention. It has no water-reduction ability right after the concrete is mixed; this effect increases over time, delivering long-lasting slump retention. Its low air entrainment makes it suitable for precast and ready-mix concrete production.

Areas of Use

SN Flux® 402 is suitable for formulating high-range water-reducing / superplasticizing admixtures where enhanced slump retention is required. Thanks to its delayed activation profile it has no water-reduction effect immediately after mixing; this effect increases over time. If good initial fluidity is required, it should be blended with water-reducing SN Flux® grades.

  • Delayed activation type
  • Can be blended with other SN Flux® grades for excellent slump retention
  • Suitable for precast and ready-mix concrete
  • Low air entrainment
