StenSeal® ASR is a hot-applied crack repair, joint sealing and waterproofing material composed of modified asphalt, polymers, plasticizers and fillers. It has high cold elasticity and resilience, staying flexible without becoming brittle or cracking even at very low temperatures. It allows heavy traffic shortly after application. It is ready to use and suitable for cracks, canals and joints in asphalt pavements, and for concrete-asphalt joints.
Areas of Use
StenSeal® ASR is used to repair cracks and small broken surfaces, seal cable canals and fill joints on any kind of asphalt surface. Thanks to its elastic structure and its resistance to microbiological growth, it is suitable for any infrastructure not in contact with solvents and fuels. It can also be used in concrete pavements and concrete-asphalt joints. It is particularly preferred in locations exposed to continuous water contact, such as water channels, dams and hydroelectric power plants.
