StenSolver EP is the member of the StenSolver product family designed as a solvent and thinner for solvent-based epoxy products. It is a mixture of xylene, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) and isopropyl alcohol (IPA). It has high dissolving power, evaporates quickly and is not miscible with water.
Areas of Use
It is used for cleaning and thinning the solvent-based epoxy products manufactured by Stenkim. It is effective for cleaning contaminated equipment before the material hardens; hardened residues can be softened by soaking in the solvent. In two-component epoxy formulations, it is added to component A before components A and B are combined.
