StenSeal® SI 110 is a single-component, cold-applied, self-leveling, low-modulus silicone joint sealant formulated specifically for outdoor concrete pavements. Its low hardness and high elongation absorb dynamic movement under heavy traffic, jet blast, and intermittent chemical contact, while delivering long-lasting resistance to fuels, hydraulic fluids, oils, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures. StenSeal® SI 110 is fully compliant with ASTM D 5893 Type SL, ASTM C 920 Type S, Grade P, Movement Class 100, and EN 14188-2 System S, Class A, Type SL; compliance with ASTM D 5893 has been certified by PRI.
Areas of Use
StenSeal® SI 110 is ideal for freshly cut concrete joints and cracks with a constant width and straight edges. It performs well in the joints of airports, roads, bridges, refineries, and chemical facilities, as well as in expansion and contraction joints of asphalt or cement concrete pavements. It adheres to properly prepared joints without a primer, and its self-leveling property provides better adhesion and a smoother surface profile than non-sagging types. For joints with irregular cross-sections, variable width, or sloped and vertical geometry, the non-sagging StenSeal® SI 111 is more suitable.
