StenMix® NORA 130 is a lignosulfonate salt-based water-reducing and plasticizing concrete admixture. It conforms to the requirements of EN 934-2 Table 2 and ASTM C 494 Type A.
Areas of Use
StenMix® NORA 130 creates a void-free, smooth-surfaced concrete mass in densely reinforced foundation, wall and column concrete that requires flowable concrete. It can be used in high-strength precast and pre-stressed concrete applications and in work requiring early formwork removal.
Added to ready-mix concrete, it provides excellent workability, eliminates the risk of segregation during transport and placement, and reduces the amount of vibration required. By reducing the amount of mixing water — and consequently the amount of voids in hardened concrete — it increases impermeability. Used at the appropriate dosage, it reduces the water requirement of concrete by 5-10%.
