StenMix® HIPA 480-W is a polycarboxylic ether (PC) based, high-range water-reducing, high-performance superplasticizing concrete admixture. It conforms to the requirements of EN 934-2 Table 3 and ASTM C 494 Type F.
Areas of Use
StenMix® HIPA 480-W creates a void-free, smooth-surfaced concrete mass in densely reinforced foundation, wall and column concrete that requires flowable concrete.
It can be used in high-strength precast and pre-stressed concrete applications and in work requiring early formwork removal. Developed for cold weather conditions, it increases the early strength of concrete without compromising ultimate strength, and added to ready-mix concrete it provides excellent workability.
