StenMix® AER is an air-entraining admixture that distributes air within concrete as controlled micro pores and increases the concrete’s resistance to freeze/thaw cycles. It conforms to the requirements of EN 934-2 Table 5 and ASTM C 260.
Areas of Use
StenMix® AER is used in concrete highways, airports, runways and aprons, dams and water reservoirs, and watertight mass concrete.
It can be applied in the production of all types of reinforced/unreinforced, lightweight or normal-weight concrete and in mass concrete. It is ideal for concrete exposed to winter conditions and deicing salts, where freeze/thaw cycles are frequent, and wherever air-entrained concrete is required.
