StenCure® P is a ready-to-use, paraffin-based curing compound that prevents water loss in fresh concrete. By forming a protective layer on the concrete surface it stops water from evaporating and enables the concrete to cure properly. It meets the requirements of ASTM C 309 Type I Class A and TS 10966 B-1.
Areas of Use
StenCure® P is used to protect all types of large concrete surfaces exposed to external conditions. It prevents the strength losses and shrinkage cracks that premature drying can cause, and makes additional precautions such as watering or laying wet straw mat, wet sand or plastic sheeting unnecessary. It is especially preferred for applications such as airports, runways, aprons and parking areas, concrete access roads, bridges, dams and irrigation canals, prestressed beams and concrete slabs.
