StenCoat® 2EP CT is a heavy-duty corrosion protection coating produced from processed tar, additives and epoxy resin. It is solvent-free. It forms a waterproof protective layer with very high mechanical and chemical resistance that is not brittle. It protects surfaces exposed to sea water against corrosion and notably prevents microbiological formations and vegetation.
Areas of Use
StenCoat® 2EP CT is used to protect surfaces exposed to seawater contact and salt-water damage against corrosion, to protect interior and exterior surfaces in wastewater and sewage systems, and to protect exterior surfaces in clean-water facilities. It is also used on terrace and roof soffits, foundation and retaining walls, municipal infrastructure, industrial facilities, waterworks, dams, underground canals, pipelines, motorway culverts and water canals, and for underground foundation waterproofing in all kinds of construction. It can be applied vertically or horizontally on concrete, asphalt, steel or wooden surfaces.
Because it contains coal tar, it must not be used indoors or in direct contact with drinking or service water.
