StenAst® PU is a single-component, polyurethane-based primer prepared for Stenkim’s polymer surface coatings, top coats and joint sealants. Its elastic, crack-bridging structure prevents shrinkage and micro cracks in concrete from reflecting into the top coating.
Areas of Use
StenAst® PU is a primer prepared for polyurethane materials and top coats such as StenCoat®, StenSeal®, StenSport® and StenCare®, applied especially on concrete, steel, wood, epoxy and polyurethane surfaces. With its crack-bridging property, it prevents shrinkage cracks in concrete from reflecting into the top coating. It is applied in one or two coats with a brush or roller, depending on the texture of the surface.
