StenAst® PT is an ideal single-component, ready-to-use primer for asphalt surfaces, composed of modified coal tar and solvents with adhesion enhanced by additives and fillers. It forms an impermeable layer on the applied surface and offers high chemical resistance to fuels, oils and antifreeze.
Areas of Use
StenAst® PT is used as a primer in joint sealing applications on all kinds of asphalt surfaces at airports, roads, parking lots, motorways and similar sites. It is easily applied by airless spray, brush or roller. Because it contains coal tar, it should not be used indoors or in places in direct contact with drinking and utility water.
