StenAst® 2EP MB is a two-component, epoxy-based primer designed for applications on damp concrete surfaces. It is suitable for use with all Stenkim polymer-based surface coatings, top coats and joint sealants. Thanks to its special formula, it provides strong adhesion on damp concrete, prevents moisture vapor transmission, protects the applied surface and prevents dusting.
Areas of Use
StenAst® 2EP MB is designed mainly to create a moisture barrier between the surface and the coating, and it can be applied on concrete as young as 3 days old. With its excellent adhesion, it creates an ideal primer layer, especially on concrete surfaces, for floor coating, repair and joint sealing applications with StenCoat®, StenSeal®, StenSport® and StenCare®. It enhances the adhesion of polymer-modified cementitious materials applied to old concrete for repair or coating purposes, and it is also used to fill microcracks and act as a surface hardener and dust inhibitor for concrete pavements.
